These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Narractive platform, available at narractive.ai (the "Platform" or "Service"), operated by GUILHERME ROCHA DE CAMARGO, registered under CNPJ no. 43.076.445/0001-68 ("Narractive", "we", "us").
By creating an account or using the Platform, you (the "User") declare that you have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
Narractive is a platform for media narrative analysis assisted by artificial intelligence. The Service processes articles and journalistic material from public sources to identify themes, cluster narratives, map actor roles and produce qualitative analyses and associated indicators.
The results constitute interpretive analyses generated by automated systems and are intended for informational purposes and to support professional decision-making. They do not constitute legal, political, financial or any other type of advice, and must not be treated as verified statements of fact.
2. Eligibility and registration
2.1. Use of the Platform is intended for individuals aged 18 or over with full legal capacity, as well as for professionals and organizations.
2.2. To access authenticated features, the User must create an account by providing true, accurate and up-to-date information, and must keep it so.
2.3. The User is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and for all activity carried out under their account. Suspected unauthorized use must be reported immediately to contact@narractive.ai.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Platform, the User agrees not to:
- violate applicable laws, third-party rights or these Terms;
- access areas, data or accounts without authorization, or attempt to circumvent security and authentication mechanisms;
- reverse engineer, automatically scrape, perform mass extraction of, or make unauthorized copies of content, data or the structure of the Service;
- overload, disrupt or compromise the integrity or performance of the Platform;
- use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes;
- resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without express authorization, except for the internal professional use of the analyses.
4. Intellectual property
4.1. Narractive's property. The Platform, its code, design, trademarks, analytical methodology and the reports and visualizations it generates are protected by intellectual property rights and belong to Narractive or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer to the User any rights over such elements, except for the limited, personal and non-exclusive license to use the Service as provided herein.
4.2. Third-party property. The articles and journalistic material analyzed by the Platform belong to their respective publishers and rights holders. Narractive does not claim ownership of such source content and uses it for analysis, indexing and reference purposes, citing sources where applicable. The analyses produced constitute derivative and interpretive work, and do not fully reproduce the original content.
4.3. Feedback. Suggestions and comments voluntarily submitted by the User may be used by Narractive to improve the Service, without creating any obligation or compensation.
5. Nature of the analyses and disclaimer
The analyses are generated by artificial intelligence models and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, source bias or interpretations subject to error. The User acknowledges that:
- the indicators (such as percentages and confidence scores) are statistical estimates, not exact measurements;
- conclusions must be assessed with independent professional judgment;
- Narractive does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the analyses for any specific purpose.
6. Availability and modifications of the Service
Narractive will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may, at any time, modify, suspend or discontinue features, in whole or in part, with notice where reasonably possible.
7. Plans and payments
Any paid features, subscription plans or on-demand services will be governed by specific commercial terms, presented at the time of contracting, which will form part of these Terms. In the absence of a contracted paid offering, use is subject to the free conditions then in force.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Narractive shall not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, decisions made on the basis of the analyses or damages arising from the unavailability of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liabilities that cannot be lawfully excluded, in particular toward consumers and under data protection legislation.
9. Indemnification
The User agrees to indemnify and hold Narractive harmless from claims, losses and expenses arising from misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms or third-party rights.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate the User's access in the event of breach of these Terms, legal requirement or risk to the security of the Platform. The User may close their account at any time. Termination does not affect provisions that, by their nature, must survive, such as intellectual property, limitation of liability and venue.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of Maringá/PR are elected to resolve disputes, without prejudice to the rights of Users qualifying as consumers to bring action in the venue of their domicile, as well as the mandatory rights afforded to Users residing in the European Union under applicable local law.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published at narractive.ai, with the date of last update indicated. Continued use after the publication of material changes implies agreement with the new version.
